Glasgow
Genuinely one of the UK’s greatest cities, it would be unfair to think of Glasgow as Scotland’s second city. Glasgow is so much more than that, nestled on the river Clyde and steeped in history & culture, Scotland’s largest city has recently become a Hollywood hotspot filming location thanks to its impressive array of architecture. You may recognise local landmarks, St Vincent Street, Trongate, Glasgow Cross & Saltmarket when going to see the latest Batman blockbuster.
There are over 70,000 students in higher education at Glasgow with the alumni spread between the University of Glasgow, the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow Caledonian University. These students are spread throughout the city but typically reside in concentrated student areas and districts around Glasgow.
